lloyds duo airmiles - airmiles not credited

Hi there,

I took out airmiles duo end of June and the offer then was 1500 miles when you open the account and £1/mile for the AMEX duo card for 3 months from opening the account.

I have spent over £5000 on the card, 95% of which is AMEX ( paid for holiday on the card) and I have got only got an additional 160 odd miles .

I called LLoyds and they claim the miles for AMEX is capped at 1500 for £1/1 mile, it then reverts back to £10/mile. I asked for confirmation that this was an additional 1500 on top of the bonus 1500 I got when I opened the card , they said yes. I mentioned that even by their calculation ( which I dont agree with) I should have more than 3000 miles which was agreed. I was told to write to card operations.

There was no cap of 1500 when I opened my account and even on my first statement it states clear £1/mile for AMEX ( no condition attached)

Anyone else had this issue?

    Hi,
I took the same offer out, but honestly can't remember what the deal was.

I don't think that there was 1500 miles PLUS £1/mile for 3 month.

I've jut been spending on it and have so far, after 2 statements amassed £1/mile. I'm currently at 1836 miles as I've spents £1836 on my card, so it clearly wasn't capped, but also there was no introductary 1500 miles either.

I'm continuing to spend on it until it goes to £10/mile, as then, it really isn't worth it and I'll revert back to my BMI credit card

Same as me. So same offer different airmiles allocation. I'd take yours anyday since I 've spent quite a lot on the card!

well, let's see what happens. I'mspending another £1000 this month, so if I get 1000 miles, then I'll be well happy and I'll spend it asap

We should be on the same deal though, really

I feel a bit jealous. I'm a long time airmiles customer and have probably spent £15k over the past year but I only get the regular 1 mile/£10 spent. Not fair really!
