How badly does going over agreed overdraft and fees effect credit score?
Hi I applied for a loan and a new bank account with a new bank but was declined as i paid a fee for going over my agreed overdarft with my current bank. It happened once and I paid £25 this month.
The bank manager rang me today saying that they may look at it again and see if they can do something etc and I have an appointmetn with him again.
My question is can they use their discretion? I have no ccj, no past bad finance history apart from this one going over agreed overdraft and subsequent penalty with my current bank.
Im sad that apparently it was bad enough to fail my loan and new account application but they have still called me in tomorrow.
what are my chances?

Hiya
I had the same where I went over my agreed overdraft once & had to pay the £25 fee for it. I also got refused soon after for some credit - I had to wait one month to prove I could manage my account then I got the credit.
So I'd wait for a month before trying again but you should be ok!0
