  • Have a look at the chilled Quorn range in pretty much all supermarkets - they do (fake) cocktail sausages, sausage rolls, fake ham/chicken/turkey slices, you name it they do it!!! With nice breads, bit of salad, dips, maybe a cheeseboard, you'd have a super-easy buffet.

A nice range of intersting cheeses, breads and crackers.
Couscous salads - couscous is dead easy to cook
    Pasta salads
Dips n things (carrot sicks, celery sticks, sliced pepper, warm pitta bread, cucumber sticks)
Balsamic vinegar and olive oil with bread to dip.
Filled potato skins. A little bit of cooking, but can be done in advance and heated up
    Dough balls
Pizza - veggie obvously, but choose nice flavours

I'm getting hungry now just thinking about all this. yummy.

What would you do for meat eaters?
Saussages on sticks? - get veggie ones
sandwiches? - make cheese, egg or salad and guacamole (had that in Ireland, it was yummy) etc
    Quiches? - get veggie ones
Salad? - just don't add ham or bacon

Be careful with crisps - some cheese ones are not veggie, whereas some meat flavoured ones are!

There's so much tasty veggie food out there that feeding vegetarians really isn't that hard.

Never understand why veggie eating is such an ordeal for people. After all cheese on toast is a veggie meal! As is jacket potato and beans.

    potato salad
    coleslaw
    bean salad
    florida salad
    quiche (most types)
    Egg mayo
    Breads of all types

Me neither belfastgirl. I have been to people's houses where they have a roast with yorkie puds, veg, mash and then they serve me cheese and beetroot salad. What on earth makes them think that mash potato and carrots are not veggie?

and don't forget sandwiches - if an informal do then normal sarnies or you could posh it up and do them as canapes, i.e. crostini. Lots of veggie fillings/toppings options. Egg and watercress, goats cheese and olives, roasted peppers, salad, tomato and mozerella.

I really can't get my head round crisps being the only veggie food you can think of!

Falafel, couscous with loads of herbs tossed in, ful medames, flat breads, chickpea salads.

You could put some things like quartered eggs, feta cheese to one side for the eggless and vegan folk.
