You can ring ask Telephone Banking to put a "Do Not Sell" marker on your accounts. It appears in red writing on the screen each time you call up. Theoretically, it should stop advisers trying to sell you stuff.0

The "do not sell" marker does not exist. trust me. Please do remember these sales people who work there, have mortgages and car insurance etc etc. they dont pester customers because of greed. they do it to keep they're jobs. Simple, you perform or your on the dole. Just for 1 minute think about what its like to work in a bank. The public think you earn 4 million a year for working in a call centre. And they hate you for it. The bank, if you dont try to sell hate you. If you dont sell everything correctly the FSA hate you and then sack you then send you to jail.0

It may exist for some banks but not ALL banks!0
