I'm looking for recommendations for car hire companies please.
Have tried a few online quotes but some seem to havesome sort of condition that they take a CREDIT card and 'earmark' a few hundred euros as a security deposit against damage!!

I'd need a company that won't do this. I also want one that is straightforward re: costs for petrol, additional drivers etc. and will not mysteriously add something on when I am in the office.
I'd also want to pick up in resort NOT airport as we'll already be in the middle of our holiday.

From researching, people seem to say it's probably cheaper to book online beforehand but any advice would be much appreciated.

Maybe they might have offers on at this time of year if I waited 'til I got there??

Dates for car hire during holiday 3-6th Sept for 2 people with A/C.
