It's good enough for most peoples needs. It also has a six cell battery (meaning longer running time) People say the OS (Windows 7 starter) isn't any good, but I don't have a clue about that, sorry.

Make sure you really want a netbook, and not a proper laptop!
On a netbook I dislike the facts that:
    • both the screen and the characters which are displayed are too small
    • keyboard is usually difficult to type on since keys too small
    • maximum memory is 2 GB, and you probably have to replace the standard 1 GB stick if you want to change
    • no DVD/CD drive
In its favour is that it is light and small, and the battery usually lasts ages on a charge.

    Hey thanks John,
Yes it's just a netbook I want.... I have a laptop (using right now), just a decent one to use outside the home... I.e take on holiday, in car, use on aeroplane to watch video's, do some excel work e.t.c e.t.c.

    Still okay????

    Thank you.

Or you would you plunge and pay that extra £45 for this:-

This month's PC Pro tested 7 netbooks and the Asus Eee PC 1001P (£219) came out on top, with both the Toshiba NB305 (£265) and (now that they are owned by Acer!) the Packard Bell dot s2 (£280) being Recommended. Prices may vary at stores other than those the magazine chose, of course.

Same spec machine was on argos (ebay site) 2 weeks ago but listed as an MSI wind for £139 in black and £149 in white with £3.99 shiping so at £199 not a good buy.
