wireless all-in-ones

Help!

I've been online having a look at various all in one printers/scanners... but i really can't decide... can anyone recommend one...i'm looking to spend less than £100

it seems that some of them are wireless but just for printing and not scanning? got 2 computers at home and they're at opposite ends of the room and would be using scanning most of all! Most product descriptions don't say, they just say wireless and then you'll see a reviewer complaining that they have to plug it in to actually scan!

plus its so hard to factor in the running costs, if anyone has any stories to share please share away! i have a headache and can't trawl the internet looking for the right one anymore lol!:rotfl:

not bothered about printing photos, more graphics - i do a lot of illustration work and its nice to print em out sometimes! besides its always cheaper to pay get your digital pics developed now...

any recommendations?

    Hi

    Printer recomendations ??

Depends on what you are wanting to do with the printer,

initial cost of the printer should not be a factor when purchasing a printer you should look at what you want by way of quality printing, and the running costs if you are going to be doing a lot of printing.

I'd recommend the Cannon MP560 for general use, but I don't know about graphics and about its running costs compared to others.

You can use it to scan wirelessly.

Not a bad recomendation will work well and the cartridges are only £1.50 each takes 4 cartridges 1 x black 20ml and 1 each colour cyan magenta and yellow each hold 13ml of ink, the only problem is if you want good quality photo prints you realy need a printer that takes 6 ink cartridges.

Cool, nice to hear its quite cheap to run then! Not fussed over photo prints - easier to just go and pay for them to be done and usually cheaper when you have lots! Half the time my photos just stay on the computer anyway :rotfl: As long as the colours come out nice for pictures such as a cartoon picture etc i'll be happy

i would recommend an HP that i have for work, i think its a Photosmart ?
it is wireless and has a scanner and fax machine built into it and it can also do automatic double sided printing.
it uses about 6 ink cartridges and when i buy the triple capacity ones through ebay they are only just over £1 each!

it looks a bit like this one (link below) except i bought mine for only £99.

do you know if it scans wirelessly? i know a lot of them are crafty and says wireless, but to scan you have to plug in the usb, just read the spec and it doesnt mention it....
