Why do I keep getting my application declined

That could go either way, if you give them a call tomorrow afternoon they might be able to give you the decision there and then0

Blimey, I thought it would be simple, will call tomorrow then and see what they say, cheers

I received a letter from Creation informing me that I have been accepted but not for the full £4000 requested, they have offered me £1600 which is better than nothing so I have called today to sort out which balances to transfer and it should be complete in the next few days.
I realised once I'd looked further into my finances one of the possible reason for the denied applications and the low limit offered by creation, could it have anything to do with the fact that my egg card had a credit limit of £4300 but I only had a balance of £1200 on it? I have now reduced this limit to match the balance.
Also, now creation have agreed to transfer £1600, if I pay off a bit off that card in a month or two can I then transfer anymore over or is that it now?0 -

Congrats on getting the card :T0 -
That is odd for Creation to offer a low limit especially to someone on a £38,000 salary. Have you only been making minimum payments on your cards or have you paid extra manually each month?Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I pay minimum on two and a lot more than minimum on the other 2, I was thinkning that maybe because the egg credit limit was a lot higher than my balance and I also have a car on a 3 yr finance deal (2 years left) that maybve I have too much credit and that is why they were not willing to give anymore even though I can more than afford to pay of big chunks as well as regular monthly payments, never mind, I will have to make do with what I have.0
