XP Critical Update

I run XP Pro on my laptop, and I know that Microsoft have just released a critical security update. Is there any way to get this if you're still running XP under Service Pack 2? At the moment I have run Update twice and no updates appear.Thanks

I don't think so as they stopped supporting SP2 last month. Why have you not got SP3?

No. Windows XP SP2 is no longer supported.

I find it absolutely incredulous that you're worried about security but haven't installed Service Pack 3.

Perhaps no genuine licence or malware preventing SP3 installation.

download sp3 then updates ,just did it for daughter last month .
