DD's DS Lite broke by DS

As the tile says got up this morning to world war three, my 4 year old has managed to snap the laft hand hinge on my DD's DS and now it won't turn on.
Anyone know if this is fixable? and if so approx how much will it cost?

If it's still under warranty, they may fix it for free.

Otherwise, I've seen various other websites quoting prices between £30 - £60 depending upon who you use to fix it (Nintendo being in the circa. £60 bracket).
