oh no i'm pretty sure this said green earlier and i hadn't seen the comp on telly yet so i think i just entered with it saying green

I'm sorry emma, but people make mistakes. It wasn't intentional & I think a little bit of gratitude would suffice, seeing as Cathy posts these comps religiously & very rarely makes a mistake!! A simple thanks for posting would be seen as far less rude!!

You can enter 5 times per telephone number, surely you can enter with the right answer but a different telephone number ie landline or mobile?

I may be wrong, Emma, but you're coming across to me as anguished by the mistake - seeing it purely as a mistake - rather than trying to cast blame or being ungrateful to the OP.

I'm afraid people do sometimes get jumped on on this site for things they haven't actually said or meant and I'm sorry if this is what has happened to you.

I hope you can enter again with a different phone number and the right answer.

That maybe true Maat, but a simple thanks along with this comment would have made a whole lot of difference!! Cathy puts a whole lot of effort into posting these & on time every single day/week, so, while this person may have been anguished, it would have been courteous, & quite frankly, a lot more decent; if they had shown a little gratitude!!
