To remove an SD card from my PC I have to click "remove safely". If I re-insert the card my PC will fail to recognise it until I have rebooted. This is obviously a bit of a drag. Is there a way round this?
Thanks

If you're running AVG anti virus...uninstall that..
Try without going through the 'safely remove' option..see if it still picks it up when you re-insert it.0 -

Thanks but, as far as I know, you have to safely remove to prevent damage to the data - but, yes, I do have AVG. Perhaps I need to remove AVG and install Avast instead...0 -
Sure....
The only other time I've seen this issue is when AVG was running on the PC...give it a go and try it..:D
(Download the AVG Removal tool to get rid of all parts of it though...Google AVG Removal tool and should get the grisoft link near the top of the listings...)0 -

If for no other reason you'd gain protection from virusus and other malware by getting a anti-virus program thats vaguely reliable0
