karoke machine

well..daughter now that age where she is depserate for one of these for her birthday. In reality she won't get a look in as my husband will insist on his version of The Darkness's "I Believe in A Thing Called Love", 8 hours a day  :D

Anyway, I've seen different versions at friend's houses and know the sound quality can vary hugely. Any good recommendations out there?

My first karaoke machine was/is an Arbiter Karaoke Machine, plays CD+G, plugs into the TV via a Scart socket, you can also plug into the back of a Hifi for better sound. I progressed onto a professional RSQ (JVC) Karaoke Player also CD+G.

You can also get DVD players and various other types of karaoke.

Have a look at https://www.emkaraoke.co.uk or https://www.cookies.co.uk or https://www.singtotheworld.co.uk for equipment and discs!

Argos also do a range of fairly cheapish machines if you don't want to spend too much to start with.

Another very good website for info is https://www.karaokeinfo.co.uk, you'll see me over there too!
