The old peoples day center, they have entertainment like watching television, maybe the odd game of bingo and stuff if they're not asleep.
I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.
  • for andybez,
you gave me a laff, it sounds perfect as all she wants to do is eat or watch telly....but a promise is a promise... last time i took her to a show in london and we went on a coach and it was along journey so she promptly fell asleep during the performance (dont laugh). then we had a couple of hours in london the following day and we spent two hours in a coffee shop cos she didnt want to shop!!! in the end i put her on a bench near to where the coach was parked and i went for a walk in hyde park bu myself!!!!! now stop laughing,

Blackpool Illuminations, lots of old folk, no countryside, Shows, Bingo, The Big One and Harry Ramsdens - what more can you ask for? :) Lots of the Hotels do BB&EM weekend specials.
  • done the blackpool thing a few times thanks. x
  • Where in North Wales are you?

  • what about a halfboard weekend at butlins? on site entertainment, bingo...etc...
  • Could you organise a weekend with tickets to the broadcast of a favourite TV show. I know you can apply for tickets online, I'm sure someone may be able to post a link.

How about the east coast. There is a lovely hotel , cober hill at cloughton - just north of scarborough. Its an old hunting lodge, excellent food and games etc (indoor bowls).
