Car insurance -extended European Stay

Hi

Does anyone know of any UK insurance companies which insure UK Registered cars for European stays of 365 days?

ecar gives 365 days of cover in the European Union

However they do have poor reviews (you can google for that).
This is a big problem with insurance. You look at one criteria only (often price) and then find they fall down in other areas.
I would certainly recommend looking at all aspects of cover and not just one.

Also note

This extension is provided for the purpose of travel only. Your permanent home must be in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man and must also be your primary residence.

I guess it's possible to travel for 365 days and still have a permanent home in the UK, but I'd personally want to check that would be accepted.
So check that out whichever company you go with.
