Lloyds TSB Visa Debit

Hi there
Having read Martin's warning about charges for buying currency using a Lloyds TSB visa debit card, I thought I'd phone LTSB to confirm the charges for platinum cardholders with them.
The guy in the contact centre initially told me confidently that there were no charges.
When I asked him to check he then admitted he was wrong and there would be a charge between £2.50 and £4.
"Ah", I said, "but what about the loading added by Visa?" Off he went again and after a few minutes he told me that this was nothing to do with Lloyds and I would have to check this with Visa.
"Fine", I said, "what's the contact number for Visa?". "Sorry, we don't have that."
I realise that it wasn't the poor chap's fault and I didn't push any harder but clearly LTSB are doing everything they can to hide these charges from their customers.
