Help - Not sure which Car Insurer I should go with

Hi, I have recently purchased a new car (it goes through next week) and I need to get car insurance. Now I have had my old insurance with the same company for 5 years but have become really annoyed about the renewal process each time. I have looked on the comparisson web sites but all the cheap ones are not brands that I know. The only name up there I recognise is Tesco but I didn't know they undertook car insurance. Has anybody used Tesco and if so can they let me know if its good (or not).

What other names can you see?

Tesco are ok - they are backed by UKI, whos other brands are a little think you might have heard of called Direct Line, Churchill, Privelige etc.
