Egg money- £1 monthly fee

Egg Money has lost the plot recently with many stupid changes to the terms & conditions..one of them is a £1 monthly fee (the fee is not applicable to customers who applied before 14 July 2009).

As long as they keep the 1% cashback I'll keep the card otherwise I'll ditch the card..they also now prevent a credit balance..

Anyone know if the 'cannot be in credit' rule is already in place? I use this card as a mule regularly and I was hoping to use it like this again today.

If so, anyone know what Egg do if your card does go into credit? & are there any other cards that work like mules? Or is this the end of an era

Just tried to study new terms and conditions for Egg myself and I found this bit which states:

"You are not permitted to have a credit balance on the Account. If this occurs, we may return such balance to you, usually by making a payment to the account from which your Direct Debit is taken."

In that case even if its already in place it sounds fine as they would simply
be paying the money balance transferred from my new credit card into my Bank which is what I intend to happen anyway?!:T
