Egg Card and Business Expenses

I've been using my Egg Money card for business expenses for the last couple of years. I've just received an e-mail in about some changes to T&Cs and noticed:

Condition 9.7
We have clarified this condition to emphasise that the Account must not be used for business purposes.

The full wording is now:

9.7 The services we provide under this Agreement are for your personal use only and the Account must not be used for business purposes. You must make sure that the Cards and the Account are not used to carry out Transactions on behalf of, or to receive payments from, any business or other organisation. You must also make sure that Cards are not used to carry out Transactions for illegal purposes.

To me that seems to pretty much rule out any use of the Egg Money card for any work related transaction. Had I missed the presence of this previously? It scuppers a major purpose of the card for me and it's something I hadn't considered as being present in card conditions before.

Edited to add: I'm an employee and I'm talking about use for purchases from companies we don't have credit accounts with or for car hire/flights/hotels when traveling for work.

You're fine. Personal purchases including business expenses that are reimbured aren't what they're looking to exclude. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it or even bother raising it with them - I know that I won't ;)

They're looking to prevent people from using their personal credit card from making payments for business purchases because it's an easy way to max out the £200 cashback.

I'd reckon this probably affects 0.01% of their customers, but they've decided to make a bad-headline-grabbing statement. Conditon 9.1 also makes it against their T&C's to have a credit balance. So I'll be ignoring that too. Basically someone in their marketing department needs to get their butts kicked.
