Flight to Shanghai from LHR

Anyone know where to go for the best deal on BA for October? Want to travel to Shanghai (PVG) then fly to Beijing and back to LHR. Also China visa - China Holiday as much as Trailfinders by the time you have sent passport recorded delivery - any other suggestions?

You just need to find a company that flies to both destinations. Try KLM and Lufthansa.

I flew to Beijing and back from Bangkok with KLM - no problems, would use again.

Where did you obtain your visa for china? I think I may well stick with the BA flights - we are staying with friends in Shanghai at the beginning, then visiting Beijing and then home.

I live in Edinburgh, so got my visa from the embassy here, so can't help you there I'm afraid.

In my opinion, you are paying too much for your flights. I travelled in peak summer season and paid way under that.

And when you go to Beijing, make sure you do the Simatai section of the Great Wall. It's the most scenic, less people as it's a little further out from Beijing (2 1/2 hours). My friend and I were the only people on the wall for as long as we walked it at the end of June !! The Chinese tourists were all shoving each other at the other sections ;)

Opodo have the same routing from £601 - if you had booked yesterday there was also a £20 discount code off long-haul.
