can you have a DMP when self employed

Im trying to help my nephew sort out his finances and suggested a DMP would be the best way to go but just wondered if you could go on one when self employed?

Anyone can go on a DMP.
A DMP is just an informal agreement to pay your creditor.
A DMP is not a court order, so it provides no legal protection although creditors are silly to attempt CCJs when a DMP proves you are paying all you can afford anyway.
I recommend they do the DMP with CCCS.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
