Customer services instore will tell you that the items are not received instore until the morning of your chosen delivery date. They are delivered to the store overnight.

Hence I still feel that items for earlier deliviries will be fulfilled first, there were items that went in and out of stock many times daily in the Xmas sale that people who ordered when the sale went online but others who ordered many days later got theirs when the earlier orders didn't.

I have usually chosen to pay by M&S credit card and haven't had as many hard luck stories as others. I am sure that this is purely coincidental.........

I have been to our store the day before my delivery and my items are there but not unpacked ready to distribute to customers.

I always order on my M&S credit card and it has made no difference to me having numerous items & even complete orders cancelled, often without even telling me. It is all a lottery...

I was only after a photo frame. It was one of the first things to change price so I ordered it before 10.30pm on the day before the sale. I thought I was fine as I had no email saying otherwise. I also ordered some school shorts which they emailed me to let me know they were delayed. I couldn't see any mention of the frame so was just checking today to get the order number so I could go instore to collect. Then I noticed the quantity for the frame was 0!! Not very happy now :mad:

I placed an order last night for several items and have just received a notification that they've all been despatched - I didn't think I'd get some of them as they were saying only 1 or 2 available but I seem to have struck lucky for a change!

Well i placed an order Wednesday night as soon as it went live... then Thursday morning I saw some other things that I would like, so I bit the bullet!

I didn't want to pay another delivery charge, so i cancelled my original order and hoped, prayed and wished the items would go back in stock (most were fully out of stock), it took me five separate orders (and a day of checking stock levels!) and I managed to reorder all but one small item... all are on there way for store pickup :j

So i didn't think their stock taking could be that bad, after the stories on here though, I'm obviously a lucky one this time

All 16 items i ordered are for delivery today,as yet have never had any trouble with M&S sales my only problem is ordering too much lol

I always pay by M&S CC and I've had mixed luck with them.....if it's something I really want they usually cancel it but if it's something I'm indifferent to then I seem to get it !!

I have an order for 32 items not yet despatched but there's a couple of suits in there I wanted for my hubby so I'm expecting the worst !!

I tried to get early delivery but couldn't....I ordered on the Thurs morning but that's far from a guarantee.....tried to complain last time but just got more frustrated !!

I don't know what's going on with M&S for the moment, but most of the stuff which is in the Sale is awful! And hardly anything pretty for 4 year old girls. Even the full price summer stuff. I think I won't bother anymore and go to other shops such as Gap for kids sale clothing. I have noticed that the shop was very empty. It was last night between 5.30pm and 6.30pm at the shop in Owlcoat centre Pudsey.
