Crazily they seem to have sent everything I ordered - £150 worth!! I only ordered that much because I was sure most of it wouldn't arrive

Don't know why I bother! As usual everything (bar one shirt) now out of stock despite ordering as soon as the prices changed. So frustrating so I cancelled the remaining shirt in disgust!0

Same with me. Just got a E mail ordered phone and game midnight Wednesday to be delivered 27th. Phone now out of stock. Game cost £3 postage £3.50 .Could not be picked up at store, delivery only. What a Company.0 -
I just got a despatch e-mail to say my entire order is being delivered. I ordered the night before the sale started for store delivery. I have never had any problems with M&S during sales - just lucky I suppose - hope it stays that way!0

I've always been lucky too but I think I've had too much good M&S karma this weekend. I got my despatch email yesterday, then this morning went to a car boot sale where I saw an M&S top that I had put in my basket during the sale but removed because I'd spent too much. It was my size and £2!!! Then in town I went to M&S to return a top I'd bought in the Per Una sale a few weeks ago - £22 from £39.50, but it was too big. I'd lost the receipt and knew that they give you the last price it was sold at and I was worried that it might have been reduced further... but it came up as full price so despite the £22 sticker I got a credit note for £39.50!
Fully expecting that my order will either get lost in the post or nothing will fit...0 -

Well, who knows what'll happen to my order then! lol
Mine is still sitting at "not yet despatched"...expected delivery date is 30/07/2010.
I've had no emails saying that any of the items are out of stock (have done in previous sales)...but the, if they've not put the order together then no doubt I'll be getting confirmation that everything is out of stock very soon!
Fingers crossed!!0 -
I don't understand why all the people complaining didn't choose next day delivery. Even if you're not at home to take the parcel, at least the parcel would have been packed up and dispatched to you and delivered at another time.0

I went into Bluewater store and got a gorgeous silver sequin jacket/shrug down to £19 from about £49. Was really impressed

Because if I order an item and there is one in stock and then someone else orders after I do then I'd expect to get that item - not the person who ordered AFTER me...
Now, I admit, I know how the M&S system works and stupidly didn't select "Next Day" but my point above remains valid.
And of course, not everyone knows how the system works.. So, why don't you understand why they didn't select Next Day??0 -

It's common knowledge on this board that M&S always cancel orders because things go out of stock.0
