i recently looked at husband statment and noticed he is paying for a repayment cover fee of £13 each month. he has no idea about it.
he has had the card for few years. we actually have the money and are paying the card off this month.
i wanted to know can he reclaim the repayment and late fees back. he doesnt know how long he has been paying that for.

Hi there
I would ask for the policy booklet details if your husband does not have these to find out what the cover entails.
However, I assume like any other policy if mis sold or added without knowledge your in your right to make a reclaim on this.
For more on reclaiming such as PPI here:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
It could come under charges section, so it may be worth finding out more on the other thread, called reclaiming bank and card charges etc here:

Hi there
Just came across this thread now.
I see you have made a start well done.;)
I would keep the ppi reclaiming side of it separate to that of the charges etc.
There is more on this matter here:

You can ask them for a detailed written breakdown, they should send these on request.
Good luck and keep at them.;)
oops, sorry, I even missed my own posts above and given the details lol, silly me, good luck anyway. XThe one and only "Dizzy Di"

Hi there
You can still continue to make a reclaim even if you don't have the agreement, I'm sure when it comes to working out the refund they will deal with this.
Did you request for your details under a SAR request?
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1475553
This is the one you enclose £10 cheque or postal order and they have 40 calendar days to comply.
And in regards of the agreement request, if the account is still active I understand that they should still hold this on data, did you enclose a £1 cheque/postal order for this request?
This one they have 12-14 days to comply (for the agreement alone).
Otherwise the SAR they send all the details they still hold on the account with the given payment, this is under the Data protection act (DPA).
If you want to continue to make a reclaim on the ppi with your reasons, you can do so by completing the FOS questionnaire, this is instead of the first reclaiming template letter, complete and send to whoever is responsible for setting the policy up, keep a copy as well, they have 8 weeks to give a decision, but they may ask for more time, this is fine just as long as you know where you are.
You will find the FOS questionnaire on the link below further down the page, as stage one (not to get this confused with the FOS complaints form).

Try to get proof of posting at your post office as well, good luck and hope this helps.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Hi there
First of all good luck on the reclaiming of the ppi.
And you are also entitled to make a reclaim on the charges side of it, but it may be a good idea to post on the reclaiming charges thread on this actual matter.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=102
Keep them separate.
Fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
