Just had a 'phone call, recorded of course, advising me I have won a wonderful holiday. All I have to do is press 9 to claim. Is there any way of finding out how much I would have lost had I done so?
Down south where, unfortunately, the government does remember us.

You would have lost nothing but your time. If you press 9 you have demonstrated to the telemarketer that you are not an answering machine and you are then connected to one of their sales staff.
All this talk of £20 per minute is nonsense. For anybody that thinks otherwise, I have a nice bridge that they might want to buy.
Oh and the cruise is free, it is just the flights, the food, the arangement fee, the hotel, etc, etc that isn't.0 -
Whilst I know that the phone charges are limited in the UK, does the same apply to abroad, eg US? Just curious.Down south where, unfortunately, the government does remember us.0
