aqua card, how long for a decision

Hi, i have a dire credit rating....anyway i have 4 credit cards, 2 x lloyds tsb amex duo (one in my husbands name) , cap1 progress (in my husbands name) and halifax.

im going away and want to hire a car and i need money on a cc available to pay deposit. but on those 4 cards there is only £1485.... (my balances are zero)

so my husband applied for an aqua card(i just on the offchance. )anyway they said 7-10days blah blah...has anyone applied and they said that then got the card? how much credit limit, and how long did it take to come?

About 10 days to recieve CA. About 2 weeks after i sent CA back and £250 limit, no chance of increase for 6 months

to hire a car shouldnt cost a big amount

Yeah, you shouldnt need that much to hire a car....But then, you may well be going for a longer period car hire or a luxury limo.....

haha im only 21 so have to hire from like random companies. also its not the car hire its for the deposit. was told $1500 originally.
