Accidental damage - mint card?

Options
Hi :j
We bought DS an ipod touch in May on a mint credit card. He has dropped it this morning and cracked the screen. Would we have any accidental damage cover on the mint card to try and claim?

Thanks

MInt do not provide purchase protection insurance of any kind. It was removed approx 2 years ago. Household insurance will probably cover it ?

Yup AD cover would have to come under house contents insurance but it's not worth it for the DS - the excess is going to be £50 or £100+ in addition you'd probably pay a bit more for the renewal quote (with any insurer)

For the record, it was an ipod touch bought for "DS" (?) not a Nintendo DS that was bought. I think your advice probably still stands, though.

Ironically, I recently bought a DS for my son, Ipod Touch. His sister, Nano, is very jealous.:)
