Wedding Stationery: Your themes/inspiration

Hope no one minds me posting here. I would love to know what sort of stationery you want/wanted for your wedding to get a broad idea of different ideas for a business I'm hoping to set up.
I wanted pink and twinkly and elegant for mine, my friend wanted cream and vintage and lacy. My other friend had black and red and gothic as her theme!
What theme/colour are you having? and where is your inspiration coming from?
I wish I was planning my wedding again!!

I wanted white with aqua blue (to match the bridesmaids) but wanted an australian feel.
So I drew (Im a designer by trade) an illustration of the Sydney Harbour Bridge
Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
ours is a snowflake theme with midnight blue, silver and white colours. the inspiration was from how lovely the ice and snow looked last winter

My invites are black pearlescent pocketfolds with hot pink and black and white damask borders. Hot pink and black are our colours, and I wanted something kind of funky!0

our invites are a purple and grey/silver colour
but my flower theme is going to be purple and yellow with some silver giltz to tie it into the invites
would have put yellow into the invites but it just doesn't print out well!0 -
the initial inspiration for our colour scheme as a whole came from my dress which is ivory and gold. Then as we are having a december wedding I looked through my craft stuff from last christmas and discovered a snowflake punch so decided that the stationary theme will be ivory gold and snowflakes!0

We are also purple and silver
We are having white pearlescent (sp?) pocketfold invites, with purple ribbon tied in a knot to the side of the wording as it says we are 'tying the knot'. I'm not describing it very well...
Like this..
but with a knot instead of the buckle... and the wording facing the correct way towards the pocket

My inspiration came from here! Everyone was talking about themes and colour schemes and I didn't have a clue, none of the colours I could come up with went together, I started a thread back in january and got asked what was my favourite colour or thing and I came up with chocolate and champagne! The colours go well for a november wedding as I didn't want colors that would be too cold or summery.
We have an embossed clinking champagne glasses on the front of the invites with chocolate coloured card for the inserts - it's still a work in progress0 -
That's a great theme... how easy to run it through. Personalised chocs for favours, nice colour for BM dresses! GreatMy inspiration came from here!
