URGENT: Quickest way to pay Halifax Credit Card?

Hi there,

Will be grateful if anyone could give some advice here!

Basically I need to pay a small part of my Halifax Credit Card so that I can use the card to make a large purchase (and keep it in my promotional purchase rate)

What will be the quickest way for the money to clear?

I have Halifax Current accounts, other bank accounts (so can use their Worldpay) and can also go to the branch if that's the quickest option.

Same day for interest calculation i.e. you can pay the full balance in cash on the due date and avoid interest charges, but it still takes a few days to reach Halifax card services and for the available credit shown online to increase. When card services eventually find out about the cash payment it gets backdated to the date it was actually paid for interest purposes but that's no use here.

A recent payment from my Halifax current account (not via Worldpay) was also dated on my statement as being received the same day as I paid it online, but again I think it took a few days for the available credit shown online to increase.
