experian generic check

hi all,

signed up for experian to check my credit report and it has added 2 searches on there recently, one is an identification check and the other a generic check,

all i'm asking is, will either of these affect my credit score at all? I'm assuming no... but I like to double confirm,

thanks for your time,

mutty

No it won't because it's not a credit check.
I think that lenders might not even see them, but I'm sure someone else will confirm.

Indeed, the lenders won't see them, and they'll have no effect. Identification checks, generic checks, insurance searches, and quotation searches have no impact on your credit score ;)
