Booked a cruise for my daughter and I we have just tried to confirm the booking travelling out next week and the computer will not let us confirm online stating my daughter is too young. Must be at least 6 months old on date of sailing and she is not 6 months til next day.
I have went back to thomas cook who i booked through requesting a full refund.
They want me to go on the ship but sign a waiver saying that if my daughter is sick for the first day then i take full liability of this.
Royal Carribian who i am booked with advise infant not to travel as she is under 6 months and they have not adequate facilities for under six month old.
although she will only be under six months for one day of cruise i am unhappy to sign the waiver and i was not made aware at the time of purchasing my ticket that they do not let children under 6 months even if it is by a day on the ship. had i known this i would not have booked it.
what shall i say/do i am single mum on my own .. also i had to pay full price £1000 for my daughter and there is no baggage allowance for her!! how do they suppose i get her stuff there??
Have i been missold this holiday?

It certainly looks as this is a major error by TC, they have sold you a holiday without checking your child'a age. I have to admit I wouldn't have though a cruise would be suitable for babes in arms but then I wouldn't want a cruise at any price anyway. If the crusie company have said they do not accept infants and TC knew your daughters age at the time of booking, insist on a refund, they are supposed to be the experts on the rules, not you0
