Patio doors or french windows

How much should I pay to have these fitted and which double glazing firm is the best?

I just had some patio doors fitted, I had a new metal lintle above the doors and replacement of 50 distressed bricks to match the old 100+ year old bricks. It cost £1,360 from a local company who I have had dealing with for mnay years

I woudl recommend going with a local firm and ask freinds and family as recommendations are better than fancy adverts and high pressue selling.
  • Are they replacements or a new fixture?

I have just had some existing patio doors replaced at a cost of £825. French windows to fit the same space would have been approx £100 more expensive.

The size is 1770mm wide and 2070mm high. Another firm quoted £871.

Both firms were quoting for double glazed PVCu doors (Rosewood look outside, white inside.)

I got 3 quotes, all from local firms.
