we're due to fly from manchester next week. On my local news it says for Leesd and sheffield airports to allow extra time - is this standard for all flights/airports?

I would because its always best to be on the safe side just in case, we are planning to be there 3 hours in advanced, there is plenty to have walk round so its not like we are going to be bored.
Here is the press release from Manchester airport just so you are aware of all baggage requirements

thanks, i'd found loads on the hand baggage info but couldn't find anything on timings!
Think we're expected to be there 2 hours before but seen as we don't like far then 3 hours won't make much difference - it's just the thought of getting up so early that hurts!0
