Claiming tax back in Canada

We are going to Canada in a few weeks for the first time. I have found out that you can claim tax back when you spend over $50, and that you have to take your receipts and have them stamped at the airport, but we are not flying home from canada, we are driving to boston then on to New york, are we still able to claim the tax back? can we get it stamped at the canadian/US border??? Thanks

Yes...but it's a $200 spend and each purchase/receipt has to be above $50.
look at http://www.canadiantaxrefund.com/

There are a lot of companies that will process your refund (each charging a different percentage for the task).
I believe there is a way to do it "direct" with Canadian Customs who wont charge the handling fee but can't find it online.
Look around the airport on arrival for "official" forms (usually in the departure area) or print those from the website above.0
