Is It Safe to buy with MFI?

About to buy a dining table and mattress from them using my Tesco clubcard points - however remember reading somewhere they are on the brink of being bankrupt and going to be sold.....Should this concern me if I order something?

If you pay by credit card then you will be covered whatever happens. Definitely avoid paying by cash or debit card just in case! :o

You wont have any cover im affraid
  • It's true that you would'nt have any legal cover but it's highly unlikely that Tesco would leave people high and dry, the latest news is that the stores have been sold for a £1 so the new owners will be around for a while. Suggest that anyone paying with their vouchers photocopies them before handing them over just in case.

Wouldnt a Tesco 'takeover' make the vouchers worth a lot less? They are only worth face value in tesco stores, but 4 times value in linked club card deal vouchers
