About to buy a dining table and mattress from them using my Tesco clubcard points - however remember reading somewhere they are on the brink of being bankrupt and going to be sold.....Should this concern me if I order something?

If you pay by credit card then you will be covered whatever happens. Definitely avoid paying by cash or debit card just in case!0 -
What if you pay with clubcard points as is the intent of the OP?"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100

It's true that you would'nt have any legal cover but it's highly unlikely that Tesco would leave people high and dry, the latest news is that the stores have been sold for a £1 so the new owners will be around for a while. Suggest that anyone paying with their vouchers photocopies them before handing them over just in case.:beer:0

Hold off for a while because Tesco vouchers are supposed to be worth a lot more soon in MFI, rumours have it tesco have paid the £1 to buy them out;)I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0

Wouldnt a Tesco 'takeover' make the vouchers worth a lot less? They are only worth face value in tesco stores, but 4 times value in linked club card deal vouchers*** Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly ***
