around FRANKFURT -HAHN........Mosel perhaps?

Im looking for a recommendation for accommodation B & B etc in this area,reasonably near
airport with transfers if poss. as wont be hiring car.
The dates I looked at seem full .
Prefer somewhere on the river :quaint village etc.
anyone been there done it?

there is now a really comprehensive bus service from Hahn linking up to towns as far away as speyer and ludwighaven. which are also both very nice (and on the rhine) bus costs around 15E each way.

Hi,

we've got the problem in reverse - staying in the Mosel valley most of the week but acc. seems to be full on Fri 22/9 everywhere.

Buses seem to run from Mosel towns on Mon - Fri to airport. Our flight back is on Sat at 1900. Looking at staying near the airport the day before - anyone know what there is to do ? or getting an expensive taxi from Bernkastel - Kues ( if we can find a reasonably cheap B&B)

Neither option is ideal - any ideas ?
