Looking for a B&B in St Ives

Hi everyone
Well, as the headline states I'm looking for a b&b in St Ives sometime in October. Had a quick look around, but there seems nothing under £30 pppn. It's been a while since I stayed in a b&b and was wondering if this was tthe going rate, or is it possible to get something a bit cheaper. Anyone have any specific recommendations? Would consider a hotel too.

You might want to check this but rates for Pierview B&B are currently quoted as £23-£30 per person per night.

It was really nice, very friendly ladies run the place and although a mile or so outside the town it's a short walk to nearby tesco and walking into town was pleasant. Also excellent views from the attic family room.

Point to note though, the operators are vegetarian so the cooked brekky in the morning was veggie alternatives to meaty bits. Still edible though (except the veggie "bacon").

Thanks for the post golddustmedia. No probs about a veggie breakfast as I've been a vegetarian for nearly 20 years. Know what you mean about the bacon though, can be a bit hit and miss, invariably the latter I must confess!
