what happens if i sello my car before BR ?

right my mum has said she is willing to "buy " my car from me its value is 400 in poor condition on the parkers website well she has gave mee £760 which i intend to use to pay rent and put some towards BR fees for hubby and i,
but would the OR think bad things as i would be selling it to my mum and she is more than happy for me to use it still for my day to day things ....
even though hubby could have said he needed it for work the car is in my name and i dont work so im confused.
would it look dishonest as well my mum is paying for it it will be hers but il still be insured on it and using it ??
just thought id ask im trying be it in vain to get everything ready and sorted lol if that could ever really happen
