    Without meaning to sound mean it's nothing to do with the OP. His daughter is 18 and can legally sign contracts, maybe it will be a cheap lesson for the future and she won't run up monster card bills.

    What went on in the shop, who knows, was she led on or did she go in with friends and lied to get a better phone, who knows.

    However there is no cooling off period in shops and unless she specifically asked for coverage in a set location (ie home) then it going to be an uphill battle to get it cancelled. Sorry

    For what there is, I think there was a bit of lying on both sides, and neither your daughter nor the store are totally blameless. But, you never know, she might surprise you and be good with this
