credit report?

I signed up with experian for a 30 day free trial, which is about to expire. Should i cancel when some information on my file is still not correct?

I have an order catalogue and it stated on my file i was one payment behind. Experian sorted it for me, i checked my report this morning to find the 1 payment behind has been corrected and it says im up to date.

However the information that is still wrong, is that it tells others my balance is £19 with a monthly payment of £2. Actually my balance is £0 and no monthly payments are required obviously. I don't understand why the company didn't change this on my credit report as when i log into my catalogue company online, it says my balance is £0.

So do i cancel or use it for another month, this time having to pay of course.

this could just be a case of a delay in the information re the balance being updated, balances on the credit report are never toi be taken as gospel as they can be one to month out of date if the credit reference agency are experiencing delays or backlogs in updating their files. I would probably keep the membership for another month or so and then cancel. It shouldn't take much longer for the balance to revert to zero.

Its probably that the last update the credit ref agency actioned was from just before your final payment and that they have still to action the one showing a zero balance.
