My dress has been hanging in a white bag in the wardrobe since we were married and it desrves an outing. We live in Pembrokeshire with some beautiful beaches and forests. Im hoping to find a photogropher to follow me in my dress for an afternoon and hopefully get me in some amazing shots. My husband is up for it too so we can pose together for some really arty pictures. Finding a photographer i trust is now the hard part.
Result!!!! Now no need to be jealous, you are now well and truly involved!!!0 -
I am, really am! Planning away an event to celebrate our married life together! woohoo! My children got off the school bus today to find me swishing about in my wedding dress. Its a bit big for me now - breastfeeding 4 children has reduced my once ample boobs. Might have to get my dress taken in so i can 'trash it'! I have to use the "'s because i cant bring myself to actually 'trash it' more- give it an adventure!0

I wouldn't be able to trash it. It's not that I was particularly fussy about messing up the dress on my wedding day - we had photos with me twirling around on the grass getting muddy, a couple of wonderful footprints on the train, we had piggy back races and I spent a lot of time sitting on the floor in the bar

But I was getting rid of it I'd sell it or get it made in to another outfit or give it away rather than trashing it - I'd feel bad about spending that much on a dress to wreck it.
But it does look fun

After wearing my dress for 30 minutes today.... I think i would limit my dress adventure to a trip to the beach, then dry cleaners the next day!0

Totally agree. My wedding gown is hanging in my wardrobe. It remains the open window to the most wonderful day ever.0
