Im jealous of your wedding plans

Im gatecrashing - I am happily married and have been for 5.5 years now. Ever since that day I have been day dreaming of having another wedding just so I can tweak it to make it better than it was.
So jealous of your planning ladies!!!

aahhhh, bless you. Had you thought of an anniversary photo shoot and have a really glam frock (ivory etc) and get hubby to wear a James Bond type tux? You could have a party afterwards.

I love my job as I'm involved in weddings every day. I LOVE IT!!!!

You could renew your vows which is like having another wedding.

I think Linda's idea of an anniversary shoot is a good one though.

We talk about doing something special for our 10th anniversary, but only really talked about going abroad to a exotic location with the children, but I cant see that happening, paying off old debt for a good 5 years to go.
An anniversary shoot could be something to consider though. We had a friend want to be our wedding photographer and it went really badly and we have no good photos of our day.
  • Yup im already planning my renewal!!! lol!!!! With all my kids in tow!!!! woop woop!!!!

Why not do the MSE version & renew your vows & have a party at home? The best bit is that you can invite the people who mean a lot to you, but either weren't invited or didn't / couldn't attend the wedding ;)

We had snaps from friends as we didn't think 'official' photos were necessary. BIG mistake. Photo's are the memories. I treated my daughter to a shoot for her birthday and am SO going to book hubby and I in for one for our anniversary. Even thinking about seeing us together for some fab piccys gets me all giddy.

After my post yesterday I have been thinking some more - and have fallen in love with the idea of a 'trash the dress' photo shoot. My dress has been hanging in a white bag in the wardrobe since we were married and it desrves an outing. We live in Pembrokeshire with some beautiful beaches and forests. Im hoping to find a photogropher to follow me in my dress for an afternoon and hopefully get me in some amazing shots. My husband is up for it too so we can pose together for some really arty pictures. Finding a photographer i trust is now the hard part.

    Sounds like a great idea!
Plus you'll both be more relaxed than the Wedding, so you'll be able to have fun with it :)

What's a trash the dress photoshoot?
Code-a-holic, I know how you feel - my wedding was Oct2006 and I loved every minute of the planning and the day itself. Why do you think I hang around on here ;)
I'd love to be an events manager and help people plan weddings but I don't have the qualifications to do it (plus I'm in the middle of a Neuroscience BSc - not exactly a relevant subject :p)

I think one of the best ways to describe trash the dress is to watch some videos!
