Is there a code to quote please? And does it have an expiry?

My sub. is just running out & this would be a great offer for me.

No, there is no code, just call up the number and tell them you want the 50% vouchers for 12 weeks. They will set up a d/d and send you through vouchers to use in any newsagent

You have to agree a 12-month deal. The following 36 weeks will be at least £6.50 a week, maybe more.

They do not allow you to cancel!

Are there any better newspaper subscription deals about?

Hi, that's not true as I specifically asked that question. It does automatically update to a 12 month subscription but you can cancel. The vouchers are sent to you each month, so when you receive the 3rd month's vouchers you just call them up and cancel.

    Thanks

Sorry Michael. I too have had that conversation and, in accepting the offer, you are agreeing to a minimum term of 1 year.

I suggest anyone thinking of this offer checks the small print very carefully and gets their assurances in writing!

I have been a long-standing subscriber of the Times and they have effectively increased the price of my subscription by over 100% in just one year. They claim to be losing money even on subscriptions of over £6 per week. Once they have your bank details they will use them to grab the money that they think they are entitled to.

I also had the 12 weeks offer for £3.50 which expires 20/6 and received a letter end of May advising the next 48 weeks would be at £6.00

I called them today - 0800 85 45 47 - and told them this was too expensive and cancelled subscription. No problems cancelling - but I will keep my eye on the bank account!!

Anyone know if you can then repeat the 12 weeks offer under a different name?? :) ??
