Off to Portugal for a vacation and I wondered if anyone could tell me if it is expensive eating out or buying food.Thanks.

    Cheap compared to UK

    For best value use resteraunts, cafes and markets that the locals use and not tourist ones !

    Portugal is cheap- but like a poster above, go for 'local' places (Are you Local?!), but you should find it is a LOT cheaper than UK. If you get chance to go up to Lisbon (beautiful and cheap), or even Porto (full of character), then jump at the chance, I really enjoyed them. So full of character, and laid back
