Hi Guys
Hope you are all well.
I have had some good news.. I have got a job interview as a Manager in a Supermarket.
**Please read my previous post** about my bullying and harrassment at current employer, for which I am signed off sick.
I am also 35 weeks pregnant so am due to start maternity leave on 25th June.
I am just about to lodge a grievance against my current employer re my unfair treatment, and to tbh I never ever expected to get a job interview at this stage, I have been applying to other companies but I genuinely didnt think I would get an interview.
My question is should I attend the interview (I have to call and get an allocated slot today)
I really do not know what to do - Before you read this please read - Am I being bullied post????
Thanks again in anticipation

TBH, and I know this isn't particularly PC, I wouldn't hire someone for a managerial position who is going to start probably 6 months off work 2 weeks or less after starting the job with no guarantee that they'd actually come back. I could find that in 6 months time, they'd decided to stay at home with baby. In the meantime, not only have I had to pay for cover staff for that 6 months but I'd have to go through the whole recruiting process again.0

hi just a quicky i lost my job at 4mths preg and i couldn't get a job after that as nobody wants to take on a preg lady, it maybe worth a phone call to ask them if you should bother? They might say yes.0

Of course they'll say yes: If they said no, she could take them to a Tribunal."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0 -
It's up to you but I think you are wasting your time. Yes, in theory they can't discriminate against you for this. But in practise, there isn't a company on earth that will offer you a job knowing that you go on maternity leave in 2 weeks time.
It's not like you could really get started there anyway, or would be entitled to maternity pay from them, so I don't see much point. Look for a job towards the end of your leave.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
