Grand pineapple hotel antigua

Hi,
we are looking at Antigua for next year's holiday & have been quoted a good price for The Grand Pineapple Hotel in Antigua and also the Jolly Beach Resort in Antigua. Has anyone stayed in either of these hotels who could give us an honest opinion - the reviews on Tripadvisor seem good for the Grand Pineapple and just a few niggles about the Jolly Beach Resort. There would be my hubby & I and our 2 children, aged 13 and 10. The youngest is special needs and has a fairly restricted diet so would need child friendly food (ie chips!). Any tips would be welcome - at the moment we cannot decide between the nicer beachfront room & better reviews of the Grand Pineapple and the £200 extra for the Jolly Beach which has a kids club!!
Thanks,
Louise.

Also - the beach is better at Jolly Beach and if you fancied a change from the all inclusive then there are plenty of restaurants (and a large supermarket if needed) at Jolly Harbour.
Antigua is a great place for a holiday and we would love to go back again although there is not quite so much to see and do as in Barbados.
