A couple of year ago my husband missed several payments on loans and CCs - ultimately ending up in a DAS (Scotland).
Does this mean he de-faulted on his loan and CCs?
I'm not sure if being late is defaulting or if they actually issue you with a formal default notice.
Many thanks.

Don't try to keep up with the Joneses - Drag them down to your level - it's cheaper .

Morning Miss Poohs
They usually send a formal written default notice, since being on our DMP, i nearly have enough to paper the downstairs loo, so I guess if he got them, he'd know. Would also show on his credit reports.
Hope this helps
