I am trying to locate a thread about debt but I can't find it on the new board.
It was a sticky and it had a diagram showing you step-by-step to follow if you didn't think you were liable for a debt and had links to sample letters that you could send to companies that were hassling you.
Does anyone know the one I mean?
TIA

You probably mean this

but its actually about working out if your credit agreements might be unenforcable in court.
If however you don't think it is your debt that you are being chased for, or do not know what the debt is then you send the prove it letter and wait for them to send proof you owe the money - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=11570893&postcount=2A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
