How long till Credit score improves?

Hi i was just wondering if anyone could help me.

Last week i took a stand and repayed everyone i owed money to including this years council tax and water rates. S i was just wondering how long it would take for my credit score to improve?. Is it best to wait six months before applying for credit? or would three months be ok?

I assume you mean your credit rating (which is what your chance of getting credit will be assessed on) rather than a credit score number you pay to see?

What is showing on your credit report at the moment?
Do you have any defaults/CCJs/ late or missed payments?
Have you closed down the accounts you have paid off or kept them open?
How much available credit do you now have (as per your credit report)?
How much do you want to borrow?
