Hi,

Try http://www.next6weeks.com/ I've never used the site but often look.

Happy holiday !

Have researched this a lot myself just recently. There are a lot of websites but finding availability for this summer is sometimes difficult. One well set out site is holidayhomerental. Then look out for headlines like "Newly Available". Often you'll get "late discounts" from now on. I could tell you about a great cottage near Devizes in Wiltshire with availability right through the summer. I've just refurbished it so I should know! But would it be breaking forum rules to put the holidayhomerental link to that cottage here?
Good luck

I've used this place loads - never been disappointed. Just did a quick search, and found quite a few options for a week in August

We have used, with great success:
www.lastminute-cottages.co.uk/
www.therealvisitorsbook.co.uk
which has the added benefit of guest reviews.

try helpful holidays have some good offers and so far have been superb for me. i was able to pay the deposit online and will pay the balance online. you then get to find out what items (food drinks) are in the actual apartment or cottage so you do not double up and can check what else is there etc. things that i have not found elsewhere

Try cottageguide.co.uk for cottages in this country. You can search by county, number of beds and whether you can take pets. You are booking direct with the owners. There's late availability button which will identify cottages available for a given week in the next 6 weeks.
